The ALVA® Pelvic Floor Trainer is an advanced solution designed to support women experiencing stress urinary incontinence by helping strengthen the pelvic floor muscles through a combination of vibration and traditional pelvic floor contraction exercises.
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary loss of urine to any degree. It is not a disease itself, but a symptom that may result from one or more disorders of the urinary system. It can affect quality of life, social confidence and daily activity, making effective pelvic floor training an important part of management.
The ALVA® method, developed by VibraSense AS, combines controlled vibration with conventional pelvic floor muscle training. The vibration stimulates the neuromuscular system and helps recruit more muscle fibres during exercise, supporting more efficient pelvic floor strengthening.
With ALVA®, just 5 minutes of exercise per day can help support bladder control and pelvic floor muscle improvement.
Pelvic floor exercises, also known as Kegel exercises, are a fundamental approach in the management of urinary incontinence. They help strengthen or maintain the power of the pelvic floor muscles and sphincters.
They are particularly recommended after childbirth to help restore proper muscle control. For general maintenance of pelvic floor strength, regular pelvic floor contractions are commonly recommended several times per day.
The aim of the ALVA® method is to support effective strengthening of the pelvic floor muscles and reduce symptoms of stress urinary incontinence.
Users may begin to notice initial improvements after approximately 3 weeks of consistent use, while significant progress may be achieved within 8–12 weeks, depending on individual condition, training consistency and muscle response.
The ALVA® Pelvic Floor Trainer is part of an advanced product range developed to support pelvic floor strengthening and urinary incontinence management.
