On 15 and 16 May 2026, Thessaloniki will host the “Hippocratian Cardiology Days 2026” conference at the Electra Palace Hotel, an important scientific meeting in the field of cardiology with international participation.

The conference is organized by the 2nd University Cardiology Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the Atherosclerosis Society of Northern Greece. This year’s event is of particular significance, as it coincides with the 40th anniversary of the 2nd University Cardiology Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

This year’s conference focuses on clinical decision-making through case presentations, emphasizing the interactive participation of physicians and the practical application of modern cardiology knowledge.

The scientific programme includes topics related to the new European guidelines, the use of artificial intelligence in cardiology diagnostics, cardionephrometabolic syndrome, precision medicine, genetics and personalized treatment, as well as the management of complex arrhythmias.

Of particular interest are the practical training sessions, such as hands-on workshops in emergency cardiology, echocardiography, and hemodynamics, highlighting the importance of continuous education and technological support in everyday clinical practice.
